JetBlue does NOT accept checks as a form of payment at our airport ticket counters or city ticket offices - this applies both domestically and internationally and applies to personal checks, business checks, cashier checks and money orders.
Please note that we accept traveler's checks which are treated as cash.
Traveler’s checks should be signed in front of a JetBlue airport crewmember. If your check is not signed in front of a JetBlue airport crewmember, a driver's license or passport will be required for signature verification.
JetBlue does not accept Money Orders.

JetBlue has teamed up with Western Union® to accept cash for JetBlue flights. Simply call us at 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583) or go online at jetblue.com*, choose to pay with Western Union® and your booking will be placed on hold. Then, visit any participating Western Union® Agent location before the cutoff times listed below, pay for your flights in full, and we'll confirm your reservation. Once complete, you will receive an itinerary via email and will be able to visit jetblue.com to select your seats.
**IMPORTANT: We are currently unable to accept Western Union payments on jetblue.com and we hope to have the issue resolved soon. If you need assistance with a Western Union payment on a domestic booking, please speak to one of our reservations crewmembers at 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583). The booking fee would be waived for these Customers.
Western Union® bookings, whether made over the phone or online, must be made at least two (2) calendar days prior to scheduled departure and ticketed by midnight the next day, based on Mountain Time Zone (MT), otherwise they will be auto-cancelled.
Example: for travel on Saturday or after, you would have to book no later than Thursday and pay at Western Union® by Friday keeping in mind the following:

A credit held in a Customer's Travel Bank account can be used online at jetblue.com or over the phone by calling 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583).
Cash payments are accepted at any of our airport ticket counters or city ticket offices. We accept Dominican pesos; however, please keep in mind you will be charged the fare quote you were given in U.S. dollars. Because the value of the peso fluctuates, the fare in pesos may be different than the fare you were quoted in pesos. Our fares do not change in U.S. dollars.
We do not accept third party checks.
JetBlue has partnered with Thales Avionics, LLC. to create a “cashless cabin” environment on all our flights. Thales Avionics, LLC. will supply us with handheld devices and the technology needed to accept debit / credit cards for all onboard purchases, eliminating the need for any cash transactions. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, Diners Club and UATP.
Cash is not accepted for onboard purchases.
JetBlue customers may use Apple Pay™ for premium purchases in flight, in addition to credit/debit cards. Click here for available onboard selection. Apple Pay is available on all JetBlue flights.

Masterpass by Mastercard is a digital wallet service that makes online shopping easy, secure, and convenient. Masterpass stores all payment and shipping information in one central, secure location. With Masterpass, you can shop, click, and checkout faster online.
How to use Masterpass on jetblue.com
Once a flight and other ancillaries are selected, select the Masterpass check box on the payment page and click continue. When paying with Masterpass, you will be temporarily redirected to the Masterpass website to access your account and submit payment. Once paid with Masterpass, you will then be returned to jetblue.com to obtain your booking confirmation.
On the Masterpass page, simply enter your email or phone number, click sign in, and choose the payment card and shipping address(es) you wish to use from those previously saved. There is also the option to add a new card or shipping address during checkout.
Please note, Masterpass is only available as a payment method for bookings made on jetblue.com. Masterpass is NOT available as a method of payment for bookings made by phone.
