Immediate FAA Ban on Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Devices

Please be advised of the following statement from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regarding Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices:
 
“In light of recent incidents and concerns raised by Samsung about its Galaxy Note 7 devices, the Federal Aviation Administration has issued a complete ban on these devices for all air carriers. Effective Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12 PM ET, they will not be permitted onboard or stowed in checked baggage.”

Assisting Customers
In the event you receive a call from a Customer regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, you may share that in accordance with FAA guidance, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices will not be permitted in checked or carry-on baggage, and may not be carried onboard on any JetBlue flight.

Be a BlueHero! This guidance is coming without much notice for our Customers. In the event that someone arrives at the airport to travel with their device, they will not be permitted to travel. Please waive any applicable fees when assisting them with rebooking.
