Cutoff Time for Checking In

*Customers traveling domestically from Fort Lauderdale (FLL), John F. Kennedy (JFK), Boston (BOS) or Tampa (TPA) with checked baggage, must check in 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

JetBlue is not liable for any charges incurred for baggage that was checked late, nor will we be liable for delivery or compensation for late-checked baggage.

  • If you are not checking bags, you must check in no later than 20 minutes** prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights, and 60 minutes for international flights.
  • All customers must be onboard the aircraft 15 minutes prior to scheduled or posted departure time (domestic), and onboard the aircraft 20 minutes prior to scheduled or posted departure time (international).

You may pick your bags up from baggage claim in the main terminal. JetBlue is currently the only airline operating at Worcester Regional Airport.

Worcester Regional Airport does not have a Baggage Claim Office. If your baggage has been delayed or damaged, it is important to make a baggage claim with a JetBlue crewmember at the Ticket Counter while you're at the airport.

If you need to make the claim once you've left the airport, please contact the JetBlue Ticket Counter within four hours after arrival.

Our ticket counter is located in the Main Terminal and is open as follows:

2:15 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

We recommend you arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes prior to your flight. Avoid delays by checking for traffic alerts, and allow enough time to go through TSA screening, particularly during holidays and peak travel days. Please note, JetBlue has cutoff times for baggage check in, and also for check in at the departure gate; JetBlue will not be responsible for expenses incurred due to late check in.

You will need a boarding pass to get through security.

Each customer must be onboard the aircraft 15 minutes prior to departure. Standby customers may be cleared at 10 minutes to departure. Any customer not onboard, even if they have checked in and received a boarding pass, may be denied boarding and will not be entitled to denied boarding compensation.

If you have a confirmed reservation, feel free to use a kiosk machine to check in. You may check in using the kiosk no more than six hours prior to departure if you are checking baggage. Customers with no checked baggage may check in within 24 hours from their scheduled departure time. Kiosk check in is not available 30 minutes or less before departure.

You can retrieve your information and check in at a kiosk using one of the following methods:

  • Reservation number
  • Emailed itinerary with the bar code
  • Credit card with your name on it
  • TrueBlue number or email address and password if you're a TrueBlue member

In order to validate your boarding pass, you'll need to present it along with your photo ID at the gate.

Check-in & Pick Up Info for Unaccompanied Minors - ORH

Photo identification is required for both parties who drop off and pick up an unaccompanied minor. Unaccompanied minors will not be accepted without the guardian's photo ID.

When a gate pass is issued, it is the TSA's decision as to whether a young child, in addition to the unaccompanied minor, may pass through security with the adult.

When dropping off the unaccompanied minor, the parent/guardian may NOT leave the airport until the following criteria are met:

  • the parent/guardian has a signed copy of the UMNR form
  • the UMNR is onboard the aircraft 
  • the parent/guardian's name, address and cell phone number are all documented on the minor's reservation.

In the event of a gate return, a JetBlue Crewmember will contact the parent/guardian so that he/she can immediately return to the airport to meet their minor. Please note, the parent/guardian must request a gate pass at the airport ticket counter to pick up their minor at the departure gate.

When picking up an unaccompanied minor, please arrive at the airport no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival. Pick-up area is at the JetBlue ticket counter.

The child will only be released to the person indicated on the unaccompanied minor form or on the reservation and that person must present their government issued photo ID.

From I-90 Massachusetts Turnpike:
Airport is approximately 8 miles from Exit 10 and approximately 12-15 minutes.
Take Exit 10 and connect to Route12 North (Southbridge St.)
Continue on Route 12  for .3 miles
Turn left on Oxford St. N.
Continue straight for 3.4 miles. (Oxford St. becomes Pinehurst, S. Ludlow, then St. James)
Turn right on Stafford Street for .4 miles
Turn left on Curtis Parkway for .2 miles
Turn left on Route 9 (Main St.) for .5 miles
Turn right on Goddard Memorial Drive for 2.1 Miles
Turn left on Airport Drive for .6 miles

From I-495/I-290 Junction:
Airport is 18.1 miles from I-495/I-290 junction. Drive time is approximately 25 minutes.
Connect to Interstate 290 West towards Worcester.
Take Exit 18. Turn right off exit onto Lincoln Street.
At second set of lights turn right onto Highland Street.
Continue on Highland Street across Park Avenue (4th set of traffic lights).
Take second exit from rotary (Newton Square) onto Pleasant Street.
Continue on Pleasant Street 2.8 miles and turn left onto Airport Drive.
Continue on Airport Drive. Airport entrance is on right.

Short-Term Parking – Enter airport roadway and turn left into the airport parking lot.  Take a ticket at the entrance ticket machine.  Insert this ticket in the exit machine and the gate will raise for you to exit. Short term parking is free.  For vehicles remaining overnight, please follow the steps below for Long Term parking.

Long-Term Parking – Enter airport roadway and turn left into the airport overflow parking lot or continue to the upper level parking past the terminal on the right .  Take a ticket at the entrance ticket machine  Take your ticket with you. Upon your return, cash payment is available only at the payment machines in the Terminal at the bottom of the escalator.  Credit card payments can be made either at the payment machines in the Terminal or at the machines in the exit lane.  For those patrons who pay in the terminal, an exit ticket will be dispensed to you for your use to insert in the exit lane machine and raise the gate.  If you wish to obtain a receipt you must press the receipt button at the machine where you pay.  The exit lane will not dispense a receipt for you at the time of your exit if you paid in the terminal.

For your convenience, both regular and oversized wheelchairs are available upon request. Electric carts are not available in the concourse area.

Overflow Parking is on the lower level with no elevator or ramp access to the departure/arrival level. Customers requiring wheelchairs or walking with assistive devices should be dropped off on the departure/arrival level.  The main parking lot can be accessed on the departure/arrival level past the terminal on the right.
