All of JetBlue’s fares are available on jetblue.com, 1-800-JETBLUE, and through many third party channels.

To search for Refundable Fares only, please select to search for “refundable fares.” Refundable fares may not be available on all flights.

To purchase Nonrefundable Fares on jetblue.com, please select to search for “lowest fares.” At times, the lowest available fare will be a Refundable Fare.

Refundable fares are ideal for customers who need flexibility when they travel! Our Refundable Fares come with unlimited changes and the ability to cancel for a full refund up until the time of departure—but there’s no need to worry if you are unable to make a change or cancellation before your flight. If you no-show, we’ll turn the full cost of your reservation into a fully-transferable JetBlue credit which is good for one year. Refundable Fares are available on most flights.

The fare rules for JetBlue Refundable Fares are as follows:

• Reservations made with this fare may be changed or cancelled for a refund up until the time of departure.
• After departure, any unused funds will be converted to a JetBlue credit which is valid for future travel for up to one year from date of issuance.
• Name changes are permitted.
• All fares are subject to change until purchased.
• Refundable fares may not be available on all flights in all markets

Note: refundable fares are not available for purchase when purchasing a JetBlue Getaways vacation package.

The fare paid for a customer who purchases a fully refundable ticket may be changed at any time prior to scheduled departure, subject to availability and any applicable fare change. If the reservation is not changed prior to scheduled departure, all money associated with the fare will be placed in a JetBlue credit valid for future travel on JetBlue for up to one (1) year from date of issuance.

Customers may exchange a refundable ticket for a current non-refundable ticket at any time prior to departure, subject to difference in fare. Please be advised that all applicable non-refundable guidelines will now apply. 

Reservations for refundable fares may be cancelled at any time prior to scheduled departure and the customer will receive a full refund. If the reservation is not cancelled prior to scheduled departure, all money associated with the fare will be placed in a JetBlue credit valid for future travel on JetBlue for up to one year from date of issuance.

Changing or Canceling your Reservation

Refunds shall be made by JetBlue to the original form of payment, except that when a portion of the trip has been made, the refund will be made in the amount equal to the applicable oneway fare (less any applicable discount) for the portion of the trip cancelled or not operated as scheduled by JetBlue.

Where one leg of a fare is ticketed as a refundable fare and another leg of a fare is ticketed as a non-refundable fare, the applicable refund and cancellation policies for refundable fares will apply only to the refundable portion and the applicable refund and cancellation policies for the non-refundable fare will apply to the non-refundable portion.

Customers may upgrade a non-refundable fare to a refundable fare for a per-person change fee plus any applicable fare difference.

All customers MUST change/cancel their flight prior to departure in order to receive a refund. If a customer "no shows" for a flight, the money on the reservation will be placed into a JetBlue credit for future travel within one year.

All customers who book a refundable fare over the phone, at the airport, or in an city ticket office will be charged an additional $20 per person booking fee. To save the $20 book your reservation online at jetblue.com.

Please note: The $20 booking fee is non-refundable.

In the event that you purchased a flight with a refundable fare and wish to cancel your reservation and you purchased an Even More® Space Seat, the fee will be refunded to the original form of purchase.
