If your baggage has been delayed or damaged, it is important to make a baggage claim with a JetBlue crewmember while you're at the airport.

If you need to make the claim once you've left the airport, please call the JetBlue Baggage Service Office at the airport you flew into within four hours after arrival.

The baggage service office is open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

If you’re following up on a baggage claim, Central Baggage Services can be reached from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. MT Monday through Friday and from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at 1-866-538-5438.

All boarding and deplaning in Nassau is done via the jetbridge. Nassau does not participate in boarding or deplaning from the back of the aircraft.

Our ticket counter is located in Terminal 2 next to Delta and is open from 8:45 a.m.until 5:00 p.m.

We recommend you arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to departure. Avoid delays by checking for traffic alerts, and allow enough time to go through security screening, particularly during holidays and peak travel days. Please note, JetBlue has cutoff times for baggage check in, and also for check in at the departure gate; JetBlue will not be responsible for expenses incurred due to late check in.

You will need a boarding pass to get through security. Our flights depart out of Door and the gate agent will advise which jetway to use.

check-in requirements for international travel

Documents required for travel vary according to citizenship, residency, age (for minors), length of stay, purpose of visit, student status, etc. Please check for specific requirements for the country, or countries, you are visiting to make sure you have the correct documents.

Proof of return or onward travel, proof of sufficient funds (credit card) and documents required for next destination are required at the time of check in. Failure to provide such documentation will result in denied boarding.

Children 16 years of age and younger traveling alone or with someone other than a parent or legal guardian are required to hold a notarized parental letter of consent. This letter should be from the parent authorizing travel and should be accompanied with a copy of the parent's photo identification. In the case of organized group travel, a letter is not necessary; it is assumed that the chaperone has obtained prior permission.

Customers traveling with an infant as a lap child are required to provide a passport for their child regardless of its age (including infants or newborns). Infants between three and 14 days old must also have, in the form of a letter, their doctor's approval to travel.

check-in cut-off time

All customers must be checked in for their flight at least 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

We will not be liable for any charges incurred for baggage that was checked late, nor will we be liable for delivery or compensation for late checked baggage.

boarding cut-off time

Each customer must be onboard the aircraft 20 minutes prior to departure.

Any customer not onboard, even if they have checked in and received a boarding pass, may be denied boarding and will not be entitled to denied boarding compensation.

kiosk check in

Kiosk check in is currently not available for international travel.

skycap and curbside check in

We currently do not offer skycap or curbside check in at the Nassau airport.

We reccommend children 16 years of age and younger traveling alone or with someone other than a parent or legal guardian hold a notarized parental letter of consent. Photo identification is required for both parties who drop off and pick up an unaccompanied minor. Unaccompanied minors will not be accepted without the guardian's photo ID.

When a gate pass is issued, it is the TSA's decision as to whether a young child, in addition to the unaccompanied minor, may pass through security with the adult.

drop off information

We request that the person dropping off the child remain in the terminal until the flight has departed. A JetBlue crewmember will take the child to the gate.

pick up information

When picking up an unaccompanied minor, you can meet them in the baggage claim area where they will be escorted by a JetBlue crewmember. Please arrive at the airport no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival.

The child will only be released to the person indicated on the unaccompanied minor form or on the reservation and that person must present their government issued photo ID.
