Baggage Claim is located in Terminal 2 after Customs and Immigration stations. You can pick up your bags from Carousels 1 through 5.

If your baggage has been delayed or damaged, it is important to make a baggage claim with a JetBlue crewmember while you're at the airport.

If you need to make the claim once you've left the airport, please call the JetBlue office at the airport you flew into within four hours after arrival.

JetBlue does not have a baggage service office at the Cancun Airport. However, a JetBlue crewmember will be near the baggage carousel for assistance during flight arrival periods.

Boarding & Deplaning Options - CUN

Cancun may offer boarding and deplaning from both the front and back of the aircraft.

The option to board and deplane from the back is available for customers who are seated in the back half of the aircraft and for those who can comfortably ascend and descend stairs.

Counters are universal and are assigned every evening. The ticket counter is open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

We recommend you arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to departure. Our flights depart out of Terminal 2, Concourse A. Avoid delays by checking for traffic alerts, and allow enough time to go through security screening, particularly during holidays and peak travel days. Please note, JetBlue has cutoff times for baggage check in, and also for check in at the departure gate; JetBlue will not be responsible for expenses incurred due to late check in.

You will need a boarding pass to get through security.

check-in requirements for international travel

Documents required for travel vary according to citizenship, residency, age (for minors), length of stay, purpose of visit, student status, etc. Please check for specific requirements for the country, or countries, you are visiting to make sure you have the correct documents.

Proof of return or onward travel, proof of sufficient funds (credit card) and documents required for next destination are required at the time of check in. Failure to provide such documentation will result in denied boarding.

Customers traveling with an infant as a lap child are required to provide a passport or official birth certificate. Infants between three and 14 days old must also have, in the form of a letter, their doctor's approval to travel.

All customers must be checked in for their flight at least 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

We will not be liable for any charges incurred for baggage that was checked late, nor will we be liable for delivery or compensation for late checked baggage.

Each customer must be onboard the aircraft 40 minutes prior to departure.

Any customer not onboard, even if they have checked in and received a boarding pass, may be denied boarding and will not be entitled to denied boarding compensation.

Check in & Pick Up Info for Unaccompanied Minors - CUN

Photo identification is required for both parties who drop off and pick up an unaccompanied minor. Unaccompanied minors will not be accepted without the guardian's photo ID.

When a gate pass is issued, it is the TSA's decision as to whether a young child, in addition to the unaccompanied minor, may pass through security with the adult.

Parents/guardians who are dropping off their minors may leave the airport before the plane has left the gate as long as they have their cell phone number documented on the minor's reservation.

In the event of a gate return, a JetBlue Crewmember will contact the parent/guardian so that he/she can immediately return to the airport to meet their minor. Please note, the parent/guardian must request a gate pass at the airport ticket counter to pick up their minor at the departure gate.

When picking up an unaccompanied minor, please wait outside the International Arrivals area at the glass door. Please arrive at the airport no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival.

The child will only be released to the person indicated on the unaccompanied minor form or on the reservation and that person must present their government issued photo ID.

Parking is available for *20 pesos per hour, *120 pesos per day and *840 pesos per week.


Special Service Information - CUN

For your convenience, regular and oversized wheelchairs are available upon request. Electric carts are not available in the concourse area.

TTY phones are available in Concourse A and Concourse B by the restrooms.

Information desks are located across from the security checkpoint in Terminal 2. An information desk is also located near the exit door in the Arrivals Building. Information desks are available 24 hours a day.
