If you’re following up on a baggage claim, Central Baggage Services can be reached from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. MT Monday through Friday and from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at 1-866-538-5438.

ticket counter hours and location

Our ticket counter is located in a common use area and the location will vary daily. We are open from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

When leaving Jamaica we recommend you arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to departure.

Avoid delays by checking for traffic alerts, and allow enough time to go through security screening, particularly during holidays and peak travel days. Please note, JetBlue has cutoff times for baggage check in, and also for check in at the departure gate; JetBlue will not be responsible for expenses incurred due to late check in.

You will need a boarding pass to get through security. Gates are assigned by the airport authority on a daily basis and will vary.

check-in requirements for international travel

Documents required for travel vary according to citizenship, residency, age (for minors), length of stay, purpose of visit, student status, etc. Please check for specific requirements for the country, or countries, you are visiting to make sure you have the correct documents.

Proof of return or onward travel and documents required for next destination are required at the time of check in. Failure to provide such documentation will result in denied boarding.

Customers traveling with an infant as a lap child are required to provide a passport or official birth certificate. Infants between three and 14 days old must also have, in the form of a letter, their doctor's approval to travel.

check-in cut-off time

All customers must be checked in for their flight at least 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

We will not be liable for any charges incurred for baggage that was checked late, nor will we be liable for delivery or compensation for late checked baggage.

boarding cut-off time

Each customer must be onboard the aircraft 20 minutes prior to departure.

Any customer not onboard, even if they have checked in and received a boarding pass, may be denied boarding and will not be entitled to denied boarding compensation.

kiosk check in

Kiosk check in is currently not available for international travel.

skycap and curbside check in

We currently do not have skycap or curbside check-in available.

Photo identification is required for both parties who drop off and pick up an unaccompanied minor. Unaccompanied minors will not be accepted without the guardian's photo ID.

drop off information

Parents/guardians who are dropping off their minors may leave the airport before the plane has left the gate as long as they have their cell phone number documented on the minor's reservation.

In the event of a gate return, a JetBlue Crewmember will contact the parent/guardian so that he/she can immediately return to the airport to meet their minor.

pick up information

When picking up an unaccompanied minor, please proceed into the arrivals area directly located outside of Customs to meet the minor. Please arrive at the airport no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival.

The child will only be released to the person indicated on the unaccompanied minor form or on the reservation and that person must present their government issued photo ID.

This new car service option provides our customers with an additional level of comfort and service that comes with pre-booking ground transportation with knowledgeable, professional and reliable car service and limo providers. This option allows travelers to reserve the service online for a ride to or from the airport, including prompt curbside pick-up and drop-off by a local driver with GPS equipment to ensure efficient and stress-free travel to the final destination. For a small additional fee, customers can also elect to be picked-up inside the airport upon arrival.

Both short and long term parking is available at the airport. Parking lots are located directly outside the terminal.

Parking rates may vary and will be posted directly at the airport.

For your convenience, regular and oversized wheelchairs are available upon request. Electric carts are not available in the concourse area. Elevators are available at the airport to transport customers in wheelchairs.
