*LaGuardia Terminal Move and Construction

On December 9, 2017, JetBlue moved our gates at LaGuardia Airport (LGA),to the historic Marine Air Terminal (Terminal A). 

This brings you greater convenience and an improved ground experience during the ongoing construction at the Central Terminal, including

  • A unique location minutes away from the congestion of the LaGuardia’s main terminal construction
  • A self-service lobby including self-tagging and the latest interactive kiosk technology
  • TSA PreCheck and Even More® Speed
  • Free charging stations
  • Curbside pick-up and drop-off points
  • Secure taxis with shorter lines
  • Convenient parking next to the terminal

Updated airport signage directs customers traveling to our new location.  As you prepare for your flight, be sure to check traffic conditions for congestion or delays.

Arriving by car? Take Exit 5 off the Grand Central Parkway. For customers departing out of Terminal A there is a Short Term Parking lot located right outside the front of the terminal.  Long term parking is provided at off-site parking lots near the terminal.  For a list of nearest lots check here:

Cut-off Time for Checking In
  • If you're not checking bags, you must check in no later than 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights.
  • Checked bags will not be accepted more than six (6) hours ahead of scheduled departure time, nor less than 40 minutes (domestic) and 60 minutes (international) prior to departure. 
  • All customers must be onboard the aircraft 15 minutes prior to scheduled or posted departure time for domestic and international flights.

JetBlue is not liable for any charges incurred for bags that were checked late, nor liable for delivery or compensation for late-checked bags.


LGA - Boarding & Deplaning Options
All boarding and deplaning in LaGuardia is done via the jetbridge. LaGuardia does not participate in boarding or deplaning from the back of the aircraft.

LGA - Special Service Information

For your convenience, regular and oversized wheelchairs are available upon request. Electric carts are not available in the concourse area.

TTY/TDD phones are available at both the ticket counter and the gate area.

Check In & Pick Up Info for Unaccompanied Minors
 
Photo identification is required for both parties who drop off and pick up an unaccompanied minor. Unaccompanied minors will not be accepted without the guardian's photo ID.
 
Drop off information
 
When dropping off the unaccompanied minor, the parent/guardian may NOT leave the airport until the following criteria are met:

  • The parent/guardian has a signed copy of the UMNR form
  • The UMNR is onboard the aircraft
  • The parent/guardian's name, address and cell phone number are all documented on the minor's reservation.

In the event of a gate return, a JetBlue crewmember will contact the parent/guardian so that he/she can immediately return to the airport to meet their minor. Please note, the parent/guardian must request a gate pass at the airport ticket counter to pick up their minor at the departure gate.
 
Pick up information
 
When picking up an unaccompanied minor, one person may receive a gate pass to proceed into the arrivals area to meet the minor. Please arrive at the airport no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival.
 
In cases where a flight arrives after the ticket counter is closed, the pick up person should proceed directly to baggage claim to meet the minor.
 
The child will only be released to the person indicated on the unaccompanied minor form or on the reservation and that person must present their government-issued photo ID.
 
Pet/Animal Relief Area

This is located to the west of our departures entry door in a fenced grassy area.
