Cut-off Time for Checking In
  • If you're not checking bags, you must check in no later than 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights.
  • Checked bags will not be accepted more than six (6) hours ahead of scheduled departure time, nor less than 40 minutes (domestic) and 60 minutes (international) prior to departure. 
  • All customers must be onboard the aircraft 15 minutes prior to scheduled or posted departure time for domestic and international flights.

JetBlue is not liable for any charges incurred for bags that were checked late, nor liable for delivery or compensation for late-checked bags.


JFK - Baggage Storage

Baggage storage is available at JFK at the following locations:

Terminal 4 Arrivals

Baggage storage is located on the 1st floor and is available 24 hours a day. The approximate cost ranges from *$4 to $16 per day, depending on size.

Terminal 4 Concourse

Baggage storage is located on the 3rd floor near Gate 30 inside Travelex Currency Exchange and is available from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. The approximate cost ranges from *$3 to $15 per day.

Terminal 1 Arrivals

Baggage storage is located near Alitalia and Olympic Airlines and is available from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. The approximate cost ranges from *$4 to $16 per day, depending on size.

JFK - Boarding & Deplaning Options

Permitting weather and other circumstances, JFK may offer boarding and deplaning from both the front and back of the aircraft.

The option to board and deplane from the back is available for customers who are seated in the back half of the aircraft and for those who can comfortably ascend stairs.


JFK - Special Service Information

For your convenience, regular and oversized wheelchairs are available upon request. Electric carts are not available in the concourse area.

TTY/TDD phones are available at both the ticket counter and the gate area.

Pre-Security: Arrivals Level – outside Baggage Service Office; Post Security: across from Gate 28

UMNR Pick-up and Drop-off Areas
Please see a JetBlue Crewmember on the Departures Level, Special Services Counter for assistance.

Wheelchair Check-in Room
Please note there is a dedicated Wheelchair Check-in Room with both curbside and intra-terminal access. The entrance to the room is located between Doors 3 and 4 on the Departures level. The Wheelchair Check-in Room has the same hours as the Ticket Counter, 0315-1130.

Parking
Reserved spaces are available in all of the CTA Parking Lots near the terminals, and also in the Blue and Green Lot parking garages for vehicles displaying a disabled person or disabled veteran placard.
