Cut-off Time for Checking In
  • If you're not checking bags, you must check in no later than 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights.
  • Checked bags will not be accepted more than six (6) hours ahead of scheduled departure time, nor less than 40 minutes (domestic) and 60 minutes (international) prior to departure.
  • All customers must be onboard the aircraft 15 minutes prior to scheduled or posted departure time for domestic and international flights.

JetBlue is not liable for any charges incurred for bags that were checked late, nor liable for delivery or compensation for late-checked bags.

CLT - Boarding & Deplaning Options

Charlotte-Douglas offers boarding and deplaning from the front of the aircraft using a JetBridge. Charlotte-Douglas does not participate in boarding and deplaning from the back of the aircraft. 

CLT - Special Service Information

Both regular and oversized wheelchairs are available upon request. Electric carts are available in the concourse and gate areas.

Designated "parking areas" for service dogs are located outside of Baggage Claim, in the grassy areas closest to the parking decks.

All Terminal telephones are of low level design and easily accessible from a wheelchair. Most Terminal telephones have volume control.

Text telephones (TTYs) are located at the information desk and throughout the facility. Charlotte Douglas International Airport can be accessed by TTY, 24 hours a day at 1-704-359-4837.

The information desk is open from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Pick up is gate side when a gate pass is issued or at baggage service office, lower level arrivals.

Visual Paging is available throughout the terminal. Customers requiring visual paging should notify any airport crewmember to initiate the process.

The restrooms in The Atrium/Food Court Area allow for side transfers from a wheelchair.

Pet Relief Areas

  • Post-security at A checkpoint, where concourse A and concourse B connects
  • Pre-security, arrivals level at either end of the terminal

UMNR Pick-up and Drop-off Areas

  • Drop off: ticket counter- gate pass may be issued
  • Pick up: is gate side when a gate pass is issued or at baggage service office, lower level arrivals
