Making a baggage claim
If your baggage has been delayed or damaged, it is important to make a baggage claim with a JetBlue crewmember while you're at the airport.
If you need to make the claim once you've left the airport, please call the JetBlue Baggage Service Office at the airport you flew into within four (4) hours after arrival.
The Baggage Service Office is open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Charlotte-Douglas offers boarding and deplaning from the front of the aircraft using a JetBridge. Charlotte-Douglas does not participate in boarding and deplaning from the back of the aircraft.

Ticket counter hours and location
Our ticket counter is located in the Main Terminal near Checkpoing "C" and Southwest Airlines check-in and operates on the following schedule:

We recommend you arrive at the airport at least two (2) hours prior to departure. Avoid delays by checking for traffic alerts, and allow enough time to go through TSA screening, particularly during holidays and peak travel days. Please note, JetBlue has cut-off times for baggage check in, and also for check in at the departure gate; JetBlue will not be responsible for expenses incurred due to late check in.
You will need a boarding pass to get through security. Our flights depart out of gate A4.

Boarding cut-off time
Each customer must be onboard the aircraft 15 minutes prior to departure.
Standby customers may be cleared at 10 minutes to departure.
Any customer not onboard, even if they have checked in and received a boarding pass, may be denied boarding and will not be entitled to denied boarding compensation.
Kiosk check in
If you have a confirmed reservation, feel free to use a kiosk machine to check in. You may check in using the kiosk no more than six hours prior to departure if you are checking baggage. Customers with no checked baggage may check in within 24 hours from their scheduled departure time. Kiosk check in is not available 30 minutes or less before departure.

In order to validate your boarding pass, you'll need to present it along with your photo ID at the gate.
Skycap and curbside check in
For your convenience, we currently have skycap service available at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
Photo identification is required for both parties who drop off and pick up an unaccompanied minor. Unaccompanied minors will not be accepted without the guardian's photo ID.
When a gate pass is issued, it is the TSA's decision as to whether a young child, in addition to the unaccompanied minor, may pass through security with the adult.
Drop off information
When dropping off the unaccompanied minor, the parent/guardian may NOT leave the airport until the following criteria are met:
In the event of a gate return, a JetBlue crewmember will contact the parent/guardian so that he/she can immediately return to the airport to meet their minor. Please note, the parent/guardian must request a gate pass at the airport ticket counter to pick up their minor at the departure gate.
Pick up information
When picking up an unaccompanied minor, please go to the ticket counter. One person may be given a gate pass to greet the unaccompanied minor. Please arrive at the airport no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival.
In cases where a flight arrives after the ticket counter is closed, the pick up person should proceed directly to baggage claim to meet the minor.
The child will only be released to the person indicated on the unaccompanied minor form or on the reservation and that person must present their government-issued photo ID.
Take Exit 33 to Billy Graham Parkway and travel approximately one and a half miles, exiting on Josh Birmingham Parkway at the Airport sign.

Take I-277 to I-77 South, take Exit 6B to Billy Graham Parkway and travel approximately five miles, exiting after the second traffic light at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport exit. Availability of airport parking will be indicated on signs along Josh Birmingham Parkway.

Take the Wilkinson Blvd/Highway 74 exit and travel approximately 1 1/2 miles on Highway 74 East. Turn right at the Wilkinson Blvd./Little Rock Road stoplight intersection. You will then pass the airport's Satellite Parking Lots. Turn left onto Old Dowd Road and follow the signs to the airport terminal.

Disabled travelers parking in hourly parking for a 24-hour period are charged the 24-hour fee for daily parking. All other rates apply as posted.
Both regular and oversized wheelchairs are available upon request. Electric carts are available in the concourse and gate areas.
Designated "parking areas" for service dogs are located outside of Baggage Claim, in the grassy areas closest to the parking decks.
All Terminal telephones are of low level design and easily accessible from a wheelchair. Most Terminal telephones have volume control.
Text telephones (TTYs) are located at the information desk and throughout the facility. Charlotte Douglas International Airport can be accessed by TTY, 24 hours a day at 1-704-359-4837.
The information desk is open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Visual Paging is available throughout the terminal. Customers requiring visual paging should notify any airport crewmember to initiate the process.
The restrooms in The Atrium/Food Court Area allow for side transfers from a wheelchair.
